Art Basel Miami attracts big-name luxury brands annually, each looking to reach new consumers. Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts popped in to the art show earlier this month. It did so with its signature play on a pop-up hotel/resort experience, aboard the 312-foot (95.2-meter) Kismet.
Kismet, delivered four years ago by Lürssen, hosted the invitation-only event. She delighted guests with her generous inside and outside spaces. For example, her lower-deck spa treated them to immersive sensory experiences. These included enjoying the scents of customized perfumes, amid citrus trees. Kismet’s famous two-deck-high video walls, meanwhile, displayed digital paintings of various Four Seasons properties from a Spanish artist. Furthermore, and probably most fun of all, the upper deck became a NetJets lounge. Guests spread out among the seating areas and took in the downtown Miami skyline. They also got to taste creations straight from Kismet’s grill.
Wherever guests roamed aboard Kismet, they could choose from even more specialty foods and drinks. In fact, 16 Four Seasons chefs, pastry chefs, and mixologists from the United States and around the world were on hand. They therefore got to sample the flavors of far-flung regions like Kuala Lumpur, Bogota, Costa Rica, Beijing, Lisbon, and even locally throughout Florida.
Given their host, perhaps they may become future charter guests. Kismet accommodates parties of 12, tended to by 28 crewmembers. Her decor is sumptuous, suitable for being such a large yacht. Design themes range from Japanese elements to Art Deco.
Kismet is available in the Caribbean this winter at a base rate of $1.2 million per week.
