It will be some time before the full 230 feet (70 meters) of the Admiral C.615 yacht is visible. But, the first steps are already concluded, since her keel-laying ceremony just took place.
“Admiral C.615” signifies that the megayacht is hull number 615 for the Italian brand. So far, only scant details are available. For instance, The Italian Sea Group, Admiral’s parent company, says that she’s an entirely in-house design. This includes interiors, as well as naval architecture and styling. Part of the styling includes on-trend, full-height glass.
Unfortunately, no renderings of the profile or the interiors are being publicized, at least at this point. But, the Admiral C.615 yacht will feature seven VIP suites and guest staterooms. A spacious owners’ suite, possibly with a lounge, will of course occupy a sizable area amid the decks, too. Due to the large party that can stay aboard, the megayacht additionally will have 10 crew cabins, besides the captain’s cabin. The crew-to-guest ratio therefore ensures attentive service for the confidential owners and their guests.
During the keel-laying ceremony, Giovanni Costantino, The Italian Sea Group founder and CEO (above), reflected on the feelings of the day. He noted that the ritual, “a long-standing maritime tradition, is a moment of great emotion for both the shipyard and the owner.” It likely has been an emotional few months for the shipyard as well. Among other projects, it laid the keel for the yacht Project Spyder, a 298-footer (88-meter) with styling by Espen Øino International.
Delivery should take place in 2026.
