No one would ever confuse a Wally with a conservative design. The daring build and design teams that brought you the WallyPower 118 and WallyTender are shopping this 70 around, looking for an equally daring-to-be-different buyer. She’s still just on paper, but she shares similarities with Wally’s previous power yachts. Much like her larger sibling, the WallyPower 70 provides an interior cockpit, within a sleek, solarium-like glass and carbon fiber supestructure. But in keeping with her little sister, she can serve as the ultimate flashy dayboat.
Of course, the 70 brings some new design ideas to the table. For one, the glass panel separating the interior cockpit from the aft deck rises vertically to unite the areas. For another, the seating/dining area in the bow cockpit is available in two layouts: one with the table athwartships, another with the table set longitudinally. No matter which layout you choose, one thing remains: You’ll look fabulous, dahling, zooming along at the anticipated top speed of 40 knots. Twin 1,520-hp MTUs will be coupled to two Rolls-Royce waterjets.
