With apologies to Humphrey Bogart, here’s looking at you, kid: This is the new logo for Burgess.
Not only is it a departure from the company’s long-standing name, as I wrote a few weeks ago, but also it’s quite a change from the midnight blue and orange colors that marked the brokerage’s brochures and Web site for some time. But as the company’s Web site, which is also undergoing a transformation, states, “The superyacht world is changing and so are we.”
Admittedly, I’m not the first to present the new look—my friends at CharterWave nabbed that honor earlier this week—but I’ll take comfort in knowing that at least I got onboard the under-construction charter yacht Excellence IV before CharterWave’s editrix Kim Kavin did.
