This summer the newest flying-bridge offering in the Ferretti Yachts lineup, the Ferretti 850, makes her debut.
Each Ferretti Group brand likes to introduce styling features from time to time that will later appear on all its models. The Ferretti 850, measuring 85’3” (26 meters), follows suit. She shows off trapezoidal hull ports that are also bigger than the windows of her sisterships. All Ferretti Yachts models exceeding 80 feet will embrace this styling element in the coming months and years.
Since she’s a flying-bridge design, the Ferretti 850 naturally has sunning, seating, and dining areas up top. Additional alfresco dining and seating areas are situated toward the bow and on the aft deck. The aft deck’s seating doubles as a chaise lounge, too, due to a movable backrest. And, though it’s not a relaxation area along these same lines, the tender garage can also do double duty. Once the transom folds down, the platform lowers into the water for easy toy deployment, and for swimmers. Optionally, the Ferretti 850 can include an additional tender or toy on the flying bridge, with a dedicated davit.
Ferretti Yachts likes to emphasize the fashion-forwardness of its interiors. The new megayacht should not disappoint the brand’s customers. As you’ll see in the video below, the ambiance is contemporary, eschewing fussiness in favor of simpler looks. This doesn’t mean the Ferretti 850 lacks flair. Overheads on the main deck are comprised of lacquered crosswise panels, helping conceal the air conditioning vents and speakers. There’s also a geometric bookcase forward of the dining area, made of brushed metal and glass. The idea is to create better separation between the gathering areas aft and the foyer to the galley and the raised pilothouse forward.
Speaking of the galley, it will be on the main deck on Ferretti 850s destined for all markets. American buyers will see a slight difference, though, with it including a bar. Guests enjoying drinks here also get to enjoy a view out to port.
All staterooms aboard the Ferretti 850 will be below decks. The master (above) includes a study/office. Two VIPs and a twin cabin round out the accommodations. Four crew are housed in two bunk cabins, too.
Here’s more of the Ferretti 850.
