Announced earlier this month, Sunreef Yachts has a new power mega-cat, the 80 Sunreef Power. The shipyard emphasized just how flexible the interior arrangement will be—but, unfortunately, without showing what rooms could look like. Now, however, we can give you your first glimpses into the beamy possibilities.
As a reminder, the 80 Sunreef Power should appeal to two types of buyers. First, of course, are the builder’s own smaller-yacht customers. Simultaneously, the shipyard is attempting to lure other multihull customers. Besides the nearly 79-foot (23.95-meter) LOA, the megayacht boasts a beefy beam, nearly 40 feet (12.1 meters).
The 80 Sunreef Power puts that beam to use by offering multiple multihull layouts. You get a dozen choices on how to configure the main deck and lower deck, in fact. The Polish shipyard is counting on the main-deck master stateroom (top and above) to be a popular choice, too. The bed faces a private alfresco area, providing a nice view to wake up to every day. A skylight brightens things up here as well.
As the two illustrations for the master suite reveal, Sunreef plans to tailor the interior decor to buyers’ wishes. So, too, does the builder allow flexibility in where rooms sit. For the saloon, for example, you can have a typical combination of a seating area and the dining area, as seen below. In this case, the galley can go down below, in the crew’s quarters. If you like chatting with your chef, though, some saloon space can go to cooking. In fact, the 80 Sunreef Power can have an open galley, for a more casual ambiance.
If you also like chatting with the captain, the megayacht can feature an elevated interior nav station. You still get a helm up on the flying bridge, though, since that’s where most captains prefer to drive. You also still get a choice of engines, ranging from 575-hp to 1,200-hp diesels.
Sunreef has not said whether hull number one is in build under contract or on spec.
