ISA Yachts 120 Viper Introduces Sinuously Styled Viper Series

ISA Yachts staked its reputation in its early days on super-stylish sport boats. The Italian shipyard is reimagining that type of yacht for a new generation, still offering head-turning looks and speeds. The ISA Yachts 120 Viper will be the first in a new series, aptly called Viper, with even sleeker profiles and more of the amenities cruisers crave.

Besides the 120 Viper, the line includes a Viper 100 and a Viper 140. All three are from the drawing boards of Fulvio De Simoni, representing the first time ISA Yachts and the renowned designer are collaborating. Additionally, all three are fiberglass construction with carbon fiber reinforcements, which bolster strength and reduce weight.

The weight savings is one of the reasons why customers who buy the ISA Yachts 120 Viper can expect a top speed of 33 knots. Cruising speed is 26 knots—equally swift for a yacht of 125 feet (38 meters). Those who want to make quick work of reaching the Bahamas from South Florida and spending all weekend island hopping will especially appreciate these performance numbers. Plus, the shipyard pledges the speeds regardless of whether owners choose the triple MAN engine package or the triple MTU engine package.

Once at your preferred destination, the superyacht provides plenty of areas to enjoy. Three leisure levels, one flowing into the next, characterize the aft deck to the swim platform. On the uppermost area, you’ll find an eight-person dining table. Conveniently, the galley/bar is just inside, with a lowering tinted-glass partition. This makes serving easy, while turning the galley and table into an indoor-outdoor show kitchen, too. The midlevel, meanwhile, is mostly for sun worshippers, thanks to a big sunpad, though a seating area is close by, good for conversations or cocktails. Similarly, the settee is well positioned for keeping an eye on the kids leaping off the swim platform and using its integral swim steps. Finally, enhancing all three spaces, the side bulkheads fold down.

Speaking of sides, ISA Yachts and Fulvio De Simoni chose to give the Viper 120 just one side deck, for more interior space. To port, it still connects the aft areas to the bow sun lounges, settee, and hot tub. Furthermore, it lets guests step out onto a deployable balcony near the saloon. Since the saloon’s floor-to-ceiling windows open, access comes from multiple locations.

Though clients can personalize interior areas, De Simoni has penned an open-plan saloon and dining area for the main deck. All staterooms, including the master, sit below decks. However, the master can be either fully forward or full beam amidships.

Wisely, the shipyard and design team give the captain and four crew something they like for operations. Specifically, the ISA Yachts Viper 120 has a helm station on the sundeck. Should weather suddenly turn, a traditional wheelhouse helm is aboard, too.

The first ISA Yachts Viper 120, which starts construction soon, should see delivery in 2026.
