An expansive, private Bahamian property known as Superyacht Estate is not only for sale, it has an area you can turn into a private megayacht marina.
Superyacht Estate is located on Paradise Island, in the Ocean Club Estates community. It’s a custom 17,250-square-foot home. Much like the megayachts you can dock steps away, the house features onyx and handmade tiles in the baths. Also like yachts, each of the baths has its own design theme. Superyacht Estate (see photos on the dedicated website) contains six bedrooms, with the master bedroom on the second floor. Another highlight is a home theater, with a fun pirate theme. The rest of the interior follows a graceful, island-style look.
Given the Bahamian lifestyle, the main attraction for Superyacht Estate is its waterfront access. East of Nassau Harbor, it offers a 1.5-acre, deep-water basin. Three hundred feet of seawall along with 250 feet of docks exist. Especially of note, an included adjacent lot can become your own marina. It, too, has deep water, about 12 feet (about 3.7 meters) at its center. Furthermore, permits exist for additional dredging and breakwater construction. As illustrated above, six boats should fit nicely. In fact, Engel & Völkers Palm Beach, which holds the listing for Superyacht Estate, says all six boats can be megayachts. Up to 200-footers (about 61-meters) should fit nicely.
The property is for sale for $27 million via Ginger Hornaday at Engel & Völkers Palm Beach. Engel & Völkers Yachting will also promote Superyacht Estate at next month’s Monaco Yacht Show. The yachting division recently opened an office along Port Vauban in Antibes.
Note, too, that property owners at Ocean Club Estates have usage rights at the Atlantis Resort and Casino as well as the One & Only Club.
