The name that owners select for their yacht says a lot about them and their inspiration. Oftentimes, “Lady” this or “Princess” that honors the fairer half of the owners. Since it’s Valentine’s Day, we could list dozens of megayachts bearing those names. With all due respect to them, though, plenty of love-related words are in yacht names, too. So, here are several romantic superyacht names, each of which calls to mind Valentine’s Day-oriented symbols and gestures.
Blind Date
Here’s a yacht with a great story—a love story, naturally—to share. The owners met on a blind date. Clearly, it was a good date, because they got married. Their 154-foot (47-meter) Heesen from 2009 is one of a few megayachts they’ve owned as a couple.

Freya
At 91 feet (27.7 meters), the sailing superyacht Freya (above) is one of the smaller yachts on our list. She’s a Nautor Swan 90 from 2012 and a competitive regatta participant. Like a few of her fellow listees, her name is rooted in mythology. Specifically, Freya is a Norse goddess associated with love, beauty, and fertility (although war is an association, too).
Kisses
No Valentine’s Day is complete without sweet kisses, right? This 174-footer (53-meter, below) launched in 2000 from Feadship. But, don’t confuse Kisses with yet another Feadship whose name was similar. That 152-footer (46.4-meter), a 2015 launch, bore the name Kiss before selling in recent years. Currently, her name is Lady Victoria.

Miss Candy
Just as no Valentine’s Day is complete without sweet kisses, it’s further not complete without sweet candy. Miss Candy (below) is pretty sweet among romantic superyacht names, we’d say. She’s a sporty-looking, 147-foot (44.9-meter) motoryacht dating to 2022 from Versilcraft.
Venus
When it comes to romantic superyacht names, it’s hard to beat Venus (top). The goddess of love in Roman mythology was just who the late Steve Jobs had in mind when he commissioned her, too. The Apple founder sadly never saw the 257-footer (78.3-meter), with super-sleek design inside and out by Philippe Starck. The yacht launched in October 2012, a year after Jobs died. His family continues cruising aboard, however.
White Rose of Drachs
Flowers—particularly roses—are perfect on Valentine’s Day. White Rose of Drachs, meanwhile, is perfect for the multi-generational family that has been using her since 2004. The 213-footer (65-meter) can’t accommodate them all simultaneously, since there are upwards of two dozen family members. So, they all spread their visits over long holidays like Christmastime.
