Several sports stars enjoy the superyacht lifestyle, ranging from Tiger Woods to Magic Johnson. Tony Parker does, too. Formerly a San Antonio Spurs NBA player, he’s currently the majority shareholder of the French basketball team ASVEL. He’s further currently enjoying his first days aboard the Infinity Nine yacht from Turkey-based AvA Yachts. In the coming months, you can charter her—and we’re giving you a look onboard here.
The shipyard delivered the project, hull number two in its Kando 110 series, earlier this month. Parker visited the yard and signed the deal in 2018. The 115-foot (35-meter) yacht is what AvA Yachts considers a “contemporary explorer,” really a long-range motoryacht with sporty styling. Specifically, the shipyard says the yacht should see upwards of 6,500 nautical miles at 10 knots under 650-hp Volvo Penta power. Redundant systems provide peace of mind. Abundant stowage for those long-range travels plus healthy volume of 333 gross tons are notable factors, too.
Infinity Nine yacht charter opportunities, however, are attracting attention as well. One of the biggest draws is the upper-deck master suite. Spanning 312 square feet (29 square meters), it has floor-to-ceiling windows. Furthermore, it extends across the full 25’6” (7.8-meter) beam, and has a private alfresco area. All five of the guest staterooms, meanwhile, sit below decks. The layout should appeal to those who put a premium on having a little oasis away from family or other guests at nighttime.
Besides, two other decks provide plenty of opportunity to relax and dine together. Parker tailored every room among them for family enjoyment. These include the 489-square-foot (45.4-square-meter) saloon and dining area on the main deck. Of course, you’ll also find a beach club aboard, plus a gym. Partial shade on the flying bridge, which has a hot tub, lets everyone soak up the sun or seek a little shelter as wished.
The yacht is presently en route from the shipyard to Monaco. She’ll call Port Hercules her homeport and charter the region from there.
Atilla Küçükdiker, the shipyard’s chairman and founder, says, “We are sad to say farewell, but bon voyage, Infinity Nine. May fair winds and following seas be with you.”
