The voluminous nature and robust looks of the Numarine explorer series are catching on, especially with Americans. With hull number one of the flagship Numarine 37XP in her owners’ hands, three more are in build, all for U.S. customers.
The fifth long-range model from the shipyard, the 37XP is also the largest. LOA is 121’10” (37.145 meters), with a volume of 345 gross tons and a 26-foot (8.025-meter) beam. The megayacht directly results from customers wanting more room for additional guests and crew as well as leisure areas. Therefore, the series generally was imagined for six staterooms for a party of 12, with a crew of seven. Interestingly, hull number one actually has seven cabins—including two master suites. One is forward on the main deck, while the extra suite is on the upper deck. Additionally, the upper-deck suite connects via a glass door to an alfresco relaxation and entertainment area. The outside deck space doubles as the tender stowage spot when the megayacht is underway.
The owner of hull number one approached Hot Lab to create the ambience you see here, with grey, white, brown, and beige for modern-classic appeal. This happens to be his second Numarine, too, “richer in terms of details and materials,” says Enrico Lumini of the design studio. The colors come through materials like leather, mother of pearl, and ebony.
Thanks to a 5,000-nautical-mile range at 10 knots, the steel-hulled Numarine 37XP (further with a fiberglass superstructure) has abundant opportunity to entertain. Take a look at the closeups of the beach club and nearly 33-foot-long (10-meter-long), full-beam flying bridge. The latter puts 861 square feet (80 square meters) at the party’s feet.
In related news, look for hull number four to have a boat deck for three PWCs plus a 28-foot-long (8.5-meter) tender.
