Arcadia Yachts American Sales Exclusively Through The Italian Yacht Group

Although Arcadia Yachts has already sold several of its yacht and megayacht models stateside, the Italian builder, long a proponent of solar power, sees stronger potential. As a result, The Italian Yacht Group is now the Arcadia Yachts American sales agent.

With a shipyard near Naples, Italy, Arcadia Yachts has had a single focus since opening its doors in 2008. Namely, every yacht within its sheds needed to put customers in stronger touch with their surroundings. The builder did so with designs where the superstructures were—and remain—much like glass boxes. Additionally, photovoltaic panels are sandwiched between the panes of glass. Customers can still see through the glass to the side and overhead, while the solar panels generate power for air conditioning and other hotel loads.

Today, the solar-powered superyachts include the A85 yacht (above), the A96 yacht, the A105 (below) and the A115. Arcadia Yachts additionally has a Sherpa line, using super-efficient Volvo Penta IPS propulsion. The series provides buyers with pocket-size superyachts boasting long range and big deck spaces.

The Italian Yacht Group has offices in Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach in Florida. It further has an office in Sag Harbor, New York. Its founder, George Jousma, has three decades of experience representing major Italian yacht builders. As Arcadia Yachts American sales agent, the company will represent clients from the start of a project through to delivery.
