One of the most-anticipated new superyachts is not only welcoming you onboard, but also officially available for charter. The grandeur and opulence of the yacht Kismet suit guests seeking something exceptional. She’s a statement-maker among the largest of luxury yachts.
The 400-foot (122-meter) Kismet, which went by the name Project Jag during construction, is the successor to a same-name Lürssen that launched in 2014 and measured 315 feet (96 meters). The brokerage and charter company Cecil Wright sold that yacht on behalf of the owner last September and has the new yacht in its central charter agency. “We are delighted to be able to continue our relationship with her owner,” says Chris Cecil-Wright, owner of Cecil Wright. (The yacht’s owner is Shad Khan, who further owns the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team. Although the photo shoot is still pending, a sculpture of a leaping jaguar, prominent as the bowsprit, pays homage to this, too.)
Despite accommodations for 20 amid her six decks, the new yacht Kismet will charter with only up to 12 people. Undeniably, the master suite is the standout, spanning two decks. Serenity is the watchword, since a fireplace, a skylight, and an alfresco area with a hot tub are all exclusive features. Shoot hoops or play pickleball out forward, too. On the off chance you really, really need to work on your vacation, though, a private stair leads to an equally sumptuous office. It has its own pantry as well.
You won’t want to spend the majority of your time in the master suite, though, since the yacht Kismet has so much to offer. Besides a wide assortment of watertoys to enjoy at anchor, the 400-footer has a spa that rivals the most beautiful ones on land. Indulge in the hammam, sauna, and/or cryotherapy area (below). Yet another room is dedicated to massages. A waterfall shower will leave you feeling even better whether you enjoy these areas or the gym and yoga studio. The studio further has a juice bar and fold-down platforms to reveal the sea.
Or, perhaps you’d rather host a lavish party than lounge in the spa? No problem. A hair and beauty salon is in the master suite so that you can get ready with extra style. Your family, meanwhile, can use one in the spa. Once you’re ready, greet your arriving guests as a DJ spins the latest tunes from a dedicated spot on the aft bridge deck. More classical entertaining can occur inside the upper deck, where you’ll find a Boganyi grand piano. Either way, friends, family, and other invitees can mix and mingle at any of the four inside bars. One is a champagne bar, in fact. Even much smaller-scale entertaining is possible, since the yacht Kismet has a wine cellar for tastings and get-togethers.
From big bashes to family-friendly vacations, the yacht Kismet strives above all to help you enjoy yourself. Multiple pools, saloons (top), and more beckon you to relax. Food is a big part of the enjoyment as well, of course. The chefs can make personal pizzas at an alfresco kitchen, for example. Yet another option is teppanyaki by the pool deck.
Combine all of this with a crew of 36 plus the captain, and the level of personal service promises to be quite high.
All you have left to do is decide where and when to book her. A fleet of four tenders, including a Hodgdon limo tender, will shuttle you to and from shore. Helicopter operations are available as well for even more privacy when arriving and leaving.
Kismet’s charter rate is €3 million ($3.275 million at press time) per week.
