Sunset Bay Marina and Anchorage is a 15-year-old Florida facility attracting megayachts and smaller yachts making their way to the Gulf Coast along the Okeechobee Waterway. It recently joined the fold of Integra Investments, becoming its 10th marina acquisition. Unchanged, however, are the slips and amenities visitors have come to appreciate.
Under the management of Oasis Marinas, which Integra Investments has tapped, Stuart-based Sunset Bay Marina and Anchorage maintains 198 slips. It accommodates megayachts to 140 feet (43 meters). Nearly 70 moorings are available as well. With 24-hour security, concierge services, a captain’s lounge, a coffee shop, a restaurant, and a bar, it attracts transient and repeat visitors year-round. Further amenities making it attractive are its proximity to historic downtown Stuart, with several shops and restaurants. Sunset Bay Marina and Anchorage sits directly on the Stuart Riverwalk, plus offers complimentary bicycles to use on paths winding throughout the city.
Additionally, the marina is close to major sports parks and nature preserves. Specifically, the spring-training facilities for Los Angeles Dodgers, the New York Mets, and the Washington Nationals are all a few minutes’ drive away. On the nature side, Jonathan Dickinson State Park has waterways for canoeing and other activities, along with quiet beaches. Hobe Sound Nature Center is close by, too.
“Its strategic location is a core aspect that aligns with Integra’s other marinas in top boating destinations,” says Victor Ballestas, principal of Integra. Those other marinas include Williams Island Marina in Aventura, plus properties in Key West, Miami, Jensen Beach, and Tampa. Notably, Oasis Marinas is managing many of those same properties.
