The master-planned Williams Island community in Florida is attractive to yacht owners due to its proximity to the Intracoastal Waterway as well as Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Slip holders and owners of transient yachts at the Williams Island Marina now will benefit from the management services of Oasis Marinas and the ownership of Integra Investments.
Integra Investments, through its Integra Marinas division, acquired the property from H. Scott Huizenga, who has owned it since 2004. The marina, in Aventura, has 106 slips across 14 acres for yachts and megayachts to 160 feet (49 meters). Additionally, its protected harbor has unobstructed, deep-water access to the Intracoastal Waterway. Yet another benefit, the marina office affords yacht owners the use of a private gym and lounge (also for captains and crew). Yacht owners further can use the Williams Island club, featuring a spa and gym, tennis and pickleball courts, indoor-outdoor pool, and several dining options.
“Williams Island Marina is fully occupied year-round, showcasing the tremendous demand for a high-quality marina in an incredibly high-barrier-to-entry market,” notes Victor Ballestas, a principal with Integra Investments. “This marina is an anchor asset in our growing portfolio and our second in Miami. We’re excited to operate, enhance, and enjoy Williams Island as active boaters ourselves.”
Integra Investments also owns the Sea Isle Marina in Miami, plus the Perry Marina in Key West, the largest deep-water marina in the Florida Keys. In fact, Integra acquired the Perry Marina earlier this year. Notably, it has Oasis Marinas managing that property, too.
Oasis Marinas is well-versed in managing marinas catering to superyachts. It oversees Cape Charles Yacht Center in Virginia and the Inner Harbor Marina in Baltimore, among others.
