Builders, naval architects, and interior designers have different ways of doing things, but they all agree on one important concept. It’s increasingly important to bring the outdoors inside their yachts, and therefore help make a better connection for their clients between the nautical environment and the yacht’s environment. Clients expect it, too. In fact, a client of Silverlining Furniture wanted a special cabinet embodying this theme. The result is Ocean Boulevard.
UK-based Silverlining custom designs and builds pieces directly for yacht and residential customers, as well as leading designers working for them. When an American customer asked the company to create this custom cabinet, the studio saw an opportunity to custom-create similar pieces for others. So, while the original Ocean Boulevard pictured here has ripples of Koto wood representing undulating waves, you can choose other materials. Silverlining’s in-house workshop can source, fashion, and dye materials to suit.
Learn more about Ocean Boulevard in this month’s edition of the MegayachtNews.com newsletter. Sent on a subscriber-only basis, our newsletter features information we don’t feature on our daily updated website. For instance, we reveal how yacht owners and charterers are craving new cruising experiences. These especially include ways to do so respectfully of the local communities and environment. Furthermore, you’ll learn about Sea-Doo’s plans to electrify its entire lineup of PWCs within the next five years. We also tell you about a new partnership between Denison Yachting and private-aviation specialist Wheels Up.
