Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach will be even more fashionable from March 23 to 26. Those are the dates of the annual Palm Beach International Boat Show, where everything from watertoys to superyachts upwards of 200 feet (61 meters) will be in the water. The largest boats on display will be at the main show site as well as Rybovich’s marina nearby. If you’re planning your visit, these are the Palm Beach boat show superyachts you won’t want to miss.
Alfa
At nearly 230 feet (70 meters), Alfa (above) is among the largest Palm Beach boat show superyachts. Benetti delivered her just three years ago, too, but she remains unused. An aft-deck pool, a private owners’ deck with a msssage room, and six staterooms below decks are highlights. Alfa is in the Fraser Yachts brokerage display.
Amara
Thirty-six years young, this 188-foot (57.3-meter) Feadship (below) is as good as new following a refit. She has a reconfigured sundeck, suiting modern-day living much better, plus an entirely refreshed interior décor. Fascinatingly, she still cruises with her original Deutz engines. Amara is in the Y.CO brokerage display.
Gioia
Custom Line has steadily made inroads into American yachting with projects like the Navetta 33 series (108 feet). Gioia is a classic example. A trideck design, she provides multi-generational families with good space and even better volume to spread out without feeling overwhelming. The superyacht is in the Denison Yachting display.
Horizon FD 110
Ready for her American premiere, which is further her global premiere, the Horizon FD 110 is further Horizon Yachts’ largest FD Series project. Nearly 25 feet (7.47 meters) of beam lend the fast-displacement motoryacht a wide-open look and feel. Horizon Yachts will have the FD 110 in its display.
Honey Fitz
Certainly, many Palm Beach boat show superyachts are larger than Honey Fitz. Arguably, however, none is as famous as this 92-footer (28-meter). The former Floating White House (she belonged to JFK) has just wrapped up a major restoration. She’s all wood, dating back to 1931
Hospitality
Hull number eight in the Westport 164 series, Hospitality (ex Wabi Sabi) has cruised all over the world. She’s ready for more explorations, too, with a range of 4,000 nautical miles. A major refit in 2021 imbued even more warmth in her seven-stateroom interior. See her at the Moran Yacht & Ship display.
Kogo
An ice-classed hull makes the 235-foot (71.7-meter) Kogo (above) all the more noteworthy. Although, Tim Heywood’s unmistakable exterior styling surely will be the first thing to get your attention. Fun fact: The alfresco area aft of her bridge-deck lounge can be an open-air cinema. Burgess has her in its display at the Palm Beach show.
Ocean Alexander 28E
Finally, the Ocean Alexander 28E among the Palm Beach boat show superyachts making their global premieres. Naturally, she’ll be in Ocean Alexander’s display, alongside other models that just premiered at last month’s Miami show.
