Dozens of yacht builders, designers, and owners arrange to have their projects premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show. This year’s event, from September 28 to October 1, certainly follows suit. More than 100 sail and power yachts will be in the water, with nearly three dozen being new deliveries and making their inaugural appearance at a show. As you begin to compile your must-visit list, consider these power superyachts debuting at the Monaco Yacht Show.
Acala
Seasoned far-flung cruising enthusiasts collaborated with Cantiere delle Marche for Acala. In fact, the shipyard says the owners created the most comprehensive technical spec it’s ever received from clients. Besides planning global voyages onboard, the owners plan to visit the world’s best diving sites. Therefore, if you get onboard, take note of their gear.
Ahpo
Pictured immediately above, this is the largest among not only the power superyachts debuting at the Monaco Yacht Show, but also among all yachts in the water, period. LOA: 377’6” (115.1 meters). Ahpo, a.k.a. Project Enzo while in build at Lürssen, belongs to the same owners who took delivery of Quattroelle from the yard in 2013. The 60-foot (18.3-meter) beam should make for an extra-comfortable interior, which the shipyard says has a family-oriented ambience.
Come Together
The first Amels 60 allows guests to access the beach club directly from their lower-deck staterooms. A 75-square-foot (7-square-meter) balcony deploys off the master, meanwhile, for alfresco enjoyment. Along those same lines, the sundeck has a teppanyaki grill and screen for midnight movies.
Enterprise
Baglietto has more than one new yacht in the show, with Enterprise, a 125-footer (38-meter), being quite unusual. She’s an entirely custom project. Her American owners, it’s safe to say, wanted more than a few things they couldn’t obtain with a semi-custom yacht. Further unusual, she’s much more voluminous than nearly any other yacht (if not all other yachts) in her size range, at 440 gross tons.
Iryna
Similar to Baglietto, Benetti has a handful of new deliveries on display, with hull number one of its B.Now 50M series, Iryna (above). With design by RWD, she’s cosmopolitan chic, with a beach club instead of the Oasis Deck that other Benetti clients wish to enjoy with guests. However, the beach club is still pretty special, containing a steam room.
Kenshō
Pictured at the top of the page, Kenshō stands out with a sea-green exterior paint scheme and abundant nods to nature throughout her interior design. Materials like bronze and teak in the décor take on organic shapes, too, rather than sculpted forms. The Italian Sea Group delivered her just this summer. LOA: 245’6” (75.85 meters).
Kinda
Kinda is hull number four in the Tankoa Yachts S501 series. She’s among several hybrid power superyachts debuting at the Monaco Yacht Show as well.. Notably, her relaxation amenities include a swimming pool sitting on the main deck, plus a full-beam VIP suite.
Lusine
Heesen Yachts’ first delivery of 2022, Lusina is a fully custom, 197-foot (60-meter) commission for an inventive owner. For example, he wanted a Boston Whaler as a primary tender, plus have it launch straight into the water from the garage. Additionally, twin and VIP staterooms sit forward on the main deck, further connected to each other.
Mangusta 165 REV
If 34 knots at top speed sounds fun to you, book a visit aboard the Mangusta 165 REV. Even the styling from Lobanov Design makes her look fast while sitting still. Also, a 472-square-foot (69-square-meter) leisure area with seating, sunpads, an infinity pool, and a bar occupies the foredeck.
Project X
Just this month, Golden Yachts handed over Project X, which you will be able to pick out immediately in the show due to the giant X designs along her superstructure. A three-deck-tall atrium sits behind them, from which the guests can take in views. A glass elevators is here, too.
Rio
Two hundred and three feet (62 meters) in length, Rio, from CRN, has a high level of custom details, like hand-painted panels in the owners’ suite. Moreover, the overall décor needed to be bright and colorful, setting a happy mood for the owners’ younger family members.
Silent VisionF 82
The Silent VisionF 82 certainly is like none of the other the power superyachts debuting at the Monaco Yacht Show. Firstly, she’s a catamaran, from Silent Yachts. Secondly, she has solar panels atop her flying bridge. Add in hybrid propulsion, and tech-savvy cruisers should be intrigued.
