Now you can enjoy an amazing vacation and aid a worthy cause simultaneously. It’s via a charity auction conceived by Guy Laliberté, the owner of Tiara (also as Cirque de Soleil’s founder). He’s offering a one-week charter aboard to benefit One Drop, a non-profit dedicated to creating sustainable access to safe water.
Tiara’s auction is actually part of a larger event benefiting One Drop, which Laliberté founded in 2007. It’s called One Night for One Drop, an annual one-time show performed in Las Vegas. Cirque de Soleil acrobats plus singers and celebrities perform at One Night for One Drop, set for March 18 this year. Since 2013, One Night for One Drop has reportedly raised $17.6 million for the charity.
While a few items are being auctioned to benefit the organization, Tiara is the only yacht involved. For a minimum bid of $100,000, half the sailing superyacht’s weekly base rate, you and nine others will get to explore South East Asian waters. You can go windsurfing, wakeboarding, kayaking, kitesurfing, and more, thanks to Tiara’s extensive toy selection. Want to go diving—or learn to dive? No problem. Representatives from Dive Butler International will meet up with you and Tiara, as part of your charter. Equally enjoyable, a marine biologist will explain what flora and fauna you can expect to see in the local waters. These extras make the charter package worth $250,000.
After a hard day’s playing, Tiara and her crew will welcome you back aboard for fun on deck. Soak sore muscles in the hot tub forward, or enjoy a movie night on the aft deck. The crew can even set up a Bedouin tent-like atmosphere on the aft deck for cocktails and dining. If you want to keep the party going, Tiara has a DJ setup, too. When you’re finally ready for bed, walk through the Art Deco interior to your stateroom for a good night’s sleep.
You can read more about Tiara and One Drop via Y.CO, which manages the yacht and holds her central charter listing. Bidding on the Tiara charter closes at midnight Pacific Time on March 18.
