Imagine stepping aboard a yacht and entering an intimate wine room, versus a too-typical saloon. Bottles of prime vintages rise to the ceiling to each side of you, for instance, with seating perfectly positioned between letting you see what you would like to enjoy. It’s your first hint of how the yacht Skyfall is not your typical superyacht.

A Trinity Yachts project from 2010, Skyfall was originally Mi Sueno. That original owner had a distinctly different vision of how he wanted to live and entertain on the water. Clearly, subsequent owners appreciated that vision, since the wine area is one of the most-talked-about spaces. In fact, even with refits in 2015 and 2020, the yacht Skyfall hasn’t undergone dramatic spatial changes.

Those spaces include upwards of 3,700 square feet (344 square meters) of relaxation and entertainment space in the open air. The sundeck arguably makes the best use, with a hot tub immediately adjacent to a pool (the latter a recent-years addition). Soft sunpads sit to each side of the pool, and cocktail tables are in reach no matter whether you’re soaking or sunning. They’re all far forward on the deck, too, therefore making them super private, and providing super views.

If swanky entertaining is your preference, though, the yacht Skyfall—available for sale and charter—has impressive stone-topped bars amid rich wood paneling inside. From the skylounge to the main saloon and formal dining area, you and your guests will feel like you’re getting the royal treatment. Just like outside, each area has abundant space for big seating groupings. Stunning custom light fixtures, inlaid stone underfoot, and more set the scene as well.

Wait until you see the main foyer, however. To say it’s dramatic is an understatement. The yacht Skyfall truly provides a grand way to access the upper and lower decks here, with metal ring inlays in the wood paneling, matching the design of the beautiful metal banister.

The banister in the master suite notably echoes that design. If it sounds unusual for a banister to be in a stateroom, it is. It’s yet another reason why the yacht Skyfall stands apart. The master suite is two levels, with the sleeping area on the elevated section. When Trinity Yachts built the megayacht back in 2010, the design was novel, even among much larger megayachts. It remains novel today as well.
