Two more years of work are on order for the Benetti FB289 yacht, for undisclosed owners. But, when the owners begin cruising in the summer of 2026, six decks of entertainment, relaxation, and action await.
The project, going by her hull number, is in Benetti’s B.Now series. That series offers a variety of designs and sizes, starting with the 50M (164 feet) and topping off with the 72M (236 feet). In this case, the megayacht measures 220 feet, being a 67M model. The B.Now series is a way for Benetti to offer clients steel yachts benefitting from shorter construction schedules, since engineering is already set. Styling is set, too, from RWD. However, owners still get to tailor the interiors to their liking, further with the studio of their choosing. These owners selected Reymond Langton Design.
The build and design teams are keeping specifics about woods and other materials close to the vest. However, the owners of the Benetti FB289 yacht have requested a high level of personalization. The areas receiving special touches naturally include the guest staterooms. Notably, they all sit on the main deck. Generally speaking, the Benetti 67M B.Now series allows up to six guest staterooms. Regardless of the total for this project, one thing that’s certain: The master suite is part of a private owners’ deck.
Further notable areas aboard include an observation deck, which guests will get to use, too. As you might expect, the primary saloon is on the main deck. But, what you might not expect here is an outdoor pool. Moving the guest staterooms up to the main deck frees up space below for a gym and sizable beach area. The main galley is below decks, too, in proximity to the crew’s quarters. Crew get a dedicated lounge and service spaces (such as the laundry and freezer/refrigerator room) on the lowest deck, the tank deck.
The owners chose West Nautical as their representatives for the build process. Geoff Moore, the company’s managing director, says the team is “greatly enjoying” the collaboration with Benetti and Reymond Langton Design.
