The vision for the VisionF 101 Alu yacht is to make hopping from, say, Capri in Italy to Porto Cervo in Sardinia in a day quicker than usual. VisionF Yachts asserts that even longer voyages will be feasible, too, thanks to her catamaran hulls and equally efficient propulsion.
“Alu” hints at the all-aluminum construction for the megayacht, which is already in build. In fact, the hulls have turned, and the superstructure is complete, too. Besides using lightweight aluminum, VisionF Yachts has employed fiberglass for the hardtop. This saves further weight to allow better speeds. Specifically, the VisionF 101 Alu yacht should top out upwards of 20 knots with quadruple Volvo Penta IPS power. Additionally, although the builder doesn’t specify the best range or most efficient speed, it does say that the owner could easily travel from Messina, Italy to Corfu, Greece in one day.
Where to spend that time, of course, is up to the eventual owner. (Construction of this hull is on spec.) Several places are possible, since the VisionF 101 Alu yacht has about 4,306 square feet (400 square meters) of living areas. Sit on the main aft deck for a while for instance, before heading forward for better views. The foredeck lounge has a big C-shaped settee for gathering with family and friends to spot birds and sealife. Coffee tables accompany the settee, perfect for sundowners once at an anchorage.
Yet another option for great vistas is the flying bridge, 1,507 square feet (140 square meters) alone. The above-mentioned hardtop shades nearly the full stretch. The exceptions are sunpads forward and more sunpads aft flanking a hot tub—if a buyer wants them, that is. VisionF Yachts plans to arrange the flying bridge this way, with or without a bar, or another way that the owner wishes.
The same is true for the interior. For the time being, the shipyard plans a contemporary ambience with neutral tones, which won’t detract from the views. It also says up to six staterooms are possible, including a master suite occupying half the starboard hull. That translates to 323 square feet (30 square meters).
Given the construction stage, the VisionF Alu 101 yacht will be ready for delivery next year.
